Under Takeaway.com’s orange roof, we mix together 11 food-ordering websites, 6 offices, and almost 500 employees with 25 different nationalities facing common challenges and working towards common goals. About our CEO
Jitse Groen founded Takeaway.com in 2000. He has been the driving force in developing the business since that time. Jitse studied Business & IT at the University of Twente. He started his entrepreneurial career during his studies when he launched a business in web development. Inspired at a family gathering in a remote area of Holland, he came up with the idea for an online food delivery marketplace. Jitse is also a member of the Advisory Board of Hotelspecials and a member of the Supervisory Board at Funda.
